Good unit Aug 26, 2008 This simple two-button infrared unit does exactly what's it's designed to do - zoom and trip the shutter of your camera, and does it very well at a great price.

It works May 31, 2008 It does what it is supposed to. I just wished it worked in B (Bulb) mode. Haven't had much use for it yet.
It works very well with my Pentax K110D May 14, 2008 this is a nice and affordable control and works with no problem with my Pentax K110D.

Infrared Remote Control for Pentax Series DL2 K110D K100D K10D GX-1L Feb 23, 2008 The Infrared Remote Control for Pentax works well in front and behind the camera up to 15 feet at instant setting as well as at 3 second delay as per the Pentax K10D camera setting and the manual. When you want to be included in the picture, you can enable autofocus in remote control by selecting Menu> C> AF in Remote Control on your K10D and say cheese and click the S button on your IRC. The only thing that doesn't work is the W/T button which really doesn't matter to me and it is not the remote control's fault. The W/T button is a telephoto adjustment button that would most likely work on point and shoot cameras like the Pentax Optio which have an adjustable telephoto knob though I can't confirm this. If you can't afford to buy the Pentax remote controller for your K10D then this one will do just as well. Satechi shipped the IRC as soon as I requested it and it arrived in three days. They have been good and honest.
It Does the Job... Jan 20, 2008 The "S" shutter button works great. But the "W/T" zoom button I can't use on my lenses. They don't have motorized zoom controls. So the unused button is OK with me; as long as the shutter button works. One final note is that if you have a Batterry grip for the Pentax K10D, it has a remote control compartment for a remote. But this one doesn't fit; it's way to big. Oh well.
