 Wireless remote for my Nikon D300s Feb 09, 2010
After reading several online reviews on the WR-B100, I decided to purchase. I received the unit promptly and after a few minutes, I had it hooked up to my Nikon D300s and working. It allows me to take remote shots over a considerable distance. It's exactly what I needed to counteract movement and allow me to take timed exposures. I can recommend this product to any DSLR owner looking for a remote unit at a very reasonable price. 5 stars Satechi.

 Best value with one exception. Feb 05, 2010
Best product for features that we could find for the Nikon D200, including Nikon's own. But, the battery hatch is flawed in that a sliver of plastic can easily break by simply opening the hatch to check or insert a battery. When it happened to ours right out of the box, we tried to contact the company, who appeared to make themselves UNAVAILABLE. We considered this a rejection of warrantee responsibilies. As the unit remains "usable" we will live with it. Many other buyers must be in the same situation. This after one review described the seller as being responsive to buyers' problems.
Good, but big Jan 21, 2010
It works fine (so far, as it's made in China), but as another reviewer pointed out, the receiver is BIG, and the attachment cable is very long. I ordered this as a replacement for another model (ordered from Hong Kong 2 years ago, which simply stopped triggering the shutter release of my camera (D300)), and that receiver was relatively compact.
In contrast, this transmitter is conveniently compact.
In sum, it seems to do the job, with the caveat that - in my opinion - the receiver is much too large, and toting around the two units does take up more space that I would like, given that I try to travel as lightly as possible to the place I like trekking in (see tpmorrow on flickr).

This remote operates on radio freq and works brilliantly up to 300'. I velcro it to the tripod leg to hold it securely. Delivery time and follow up were very good. I'm impressed with this product and the company's attitude to the customer.

The unit works great...right out of the box. The remote trigger is compact and so far no need to use the antenna. The receiver unit is a bit bulky but with a little ingenuity, you can set up velcro strips and attach it to your camera stand or if outside use a rubber band and attach to a leg of your tripod.
Anyway, good product and would recommend for professional use (untethered).
