Retaining all of the best features from the groundbreaking first generation unit, the second generation comes with a number of innovations that combine to create a greater audio experience for the user.
Larger Driver.
The first and most recognisable difference with the X-Mini II is that it's slighly larger than the original model. The X-Mini II now boasts a 40mm driver, that delivers an even richer and fuller sound.
Longer Battery Life.
The X-Mini II now boasts an improved battery life, a staggering 11 hours of continuous playback from just one charge.
"Buddy Jack" Design.
A brand new feature to the X-Mini II is the "Buddy Jack" system. This allows you to connect one X-Mini II to another and another and... well, you get the picture. Capable of forming a near endless "Daisy Chain". Combine your X-Mini II with your friend's for quite simply jaw dropping audio!
Built In 3.5mm Audio Connection.
The refinement of the original X-Mini continues with the inclusion of an inbuilt 3.5mm audio connection cable. No more running the risk of forgetting to pack the charging/connection lead when you leave... the connection cable is always in reach. The audio cable neatly slips away underneath the speaker when not in use.

I just ordered got my portable speakers and must admit they are awesome. I did not expect the speakers to be as loud, and in all honesty they are. This was the best purchase I made thus far. They sound wonderful on my cellphone and wish I had bought them sooner. Great buy, highly recommend.

I bought this product some time ago because i needed a speaker that was small and practical so i ordered one. and i loved it. it was so good for the price and for its size. It was like a demand of what i wanted. Before this product i used to complain all the time of how it would be great to have a good small speaker on the market and then this comes out. When i got it i loved it. It was better than i expected, small, good quality and a great design. i liked it so much that i ordered two more. One that can't be raised to the maximum volume and the other is useless because when it makes a static sound louder than the file you want to play in the first place. If i had not ordered the other two this review would be probably be of 5 stars but some times i think it was luck that i got one good speaker.

Used with iPod Shuffle and Netbook Aug 15, 2010
I bought two of these to use with my iPod Shuffle and Netbook. They are perfect. Small but powerful. Most impressive to me is the battery life. I've been using one of these at the office for over a month and haven't had to recharge it. When I bought it I wasn't sure if the rechargeable batter is built or if I was going to have to put in a rechargeable AAA or something but it is built in. This little speaker is great for its size and very efficient on power!

This speaker is so great; it's so compact and sounds great with my sansa clip. I can take them both to the beach and fit them in the cup holder of my beach chair. For the size it has great sound and the price is right. You can buy several and daisy chain them. Both the sansa clip and the X-mini are rechargable and last all day on a charge. I've owned it for several weeks and have no complaints. I highly recommend this speaker for it's sound,convenience and portability.
