 Functional and easy to use Mar 01, 2010
This product is as easy to use as they come. Plug it in and start using. I have not driven out of range to where the station needed changing. The interference was minimal. I was disappointed that I couldn't use it as a hands free device for calls. In fact, when someone calls the music just stops and I don't hear ringing or anything. This is a bit problematic. I also don't have 3g in my area so streaming through slacker or pandora is impossible. I will be keeping my xm radio for now. I was happy to have used this product before purchasing one for my dad's bithday. I loaned it to him and the plug wouldn't even fit with the case he has his phone in (heavy duty with port covers). I'll be investing in a higher quality blue tooth model for him. However, for he price, this product does the trick.

The iPhone fmTransmitter is top quality. It makes listening to your favorite Playlists over your fm radio so easy. The price was great and they shipped it out right away. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

I read the reviews, so I was hopeful that they were right. I received this today and tried it out. Holy cow! It works great!! The sound that came out of my speakers in my car from my Iphone was identical to the sound that comes from my cd's and fm radio. It didn't sound diminished at all! This is an incredible little device and a fantastic value! You cannot go wrong with this purchase!!

Using this with an iPhone 3G.
I like this for a few reasons:
1. Charges my phone
2. Decent audio quality
3. Stupid-simple connections
4. Cheap!
1. Hey, it charges my phone. That was the number one priority of mine when looking for an FM transmitter cause I need to listen to something like Pandora which would otherwise kill my phone all too quickly.
2. I've tried a few stations and the best I can get is decent audio quality wherein my number one gripe is I couldn't catch a strong enough signal to make it real loud. I can crank the volume all the way up on my stock speakers and it's just not loud enough. A CD or even the radio will suffice at "49" (the limit) but this just leaves more to be desired. Otherwise it sounds fairly clear, not a lot of static if you get the right station frequency.
3. The transmitter plugs into the bottom of the iPhone and has such a small footprint, plus the design more or less follows the iPhone's so it doesn't look out of place. From the bottom the transmitter plugs in via mini-USB type B which goes to a USB type A plug into the car charger. Basically it uses a standard cable you can find anywhere and you may own a few as they're popular with small electronics like cameras or other MP3 players.
4. $30, can't beat that for what it is.

Works great and as described. I would of given it 5 stars if it fit snug with cases. If you do not have a case on your phone it will hold with no issues. If you have a case it tends to fall off easily.
Great product! No Wires! BEST ON THE MARKET!!!!
