iPhone 18 Pro & Pro Max: getting the full 25W

Qi2 wireless charging on iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max tops out at 25W, the same ceiling as last year's iPhone 17 Pro. The real gap isn't the phone, it's the pad: most Qi2 chargers already sitting on desks and nightstands were built for the older 15W standard and can't deliver 25W no matter which iPhone you set on them. Pricing starts at $1,999; preorders open October 16, and it ships October 23.

Does the 25W Qi2 stand really hit 25W, or do I need a specific pad?
