Windows: the same adapter runs two extended monitors from a Windows tablet laptop at a desk at night. Dual extended display on M3/M4/M5/M6 Mac and USB4 & Thunderbolt-enabled Windows devices. Base-model M3 supports dual displays in clamshell mode only.

    No! The ExtendView™ USB4 Dual HDMI Multiport Adapter is plug-and-play, meaning it works right out of the box with compatible Mac and Windows computers. No additional drivers or DisplayLink software are required.

    Yes! Macs with M3, M4, M5, or M6 chips can support two extended displays. MacBooks with the base M3 chip must have their lid closed to use two external displays.

    Macs with base M1 or M2 chips, as well as the MacBook Neo, support only one external display.

    Note: When using the MacBook Neo, connect the ExtendView™ USB4 Dual HDMI Multiport Adapter to the left USB-C port, as this is the only port that supports video output.

    Windows 10 and 11 PCs can support two extended displays when connected through a USB4 port (40Gbps or higher).

    iPads and iPhones support only one external display when using the ExtendView™ USB4 Dual HDMI Multiport Adapter.

    To achieve the fastest possible charging speeds, your laptop, charging cable, and power adapter must all support 140W charging.

    Laptop: Must support charging at 140W.
    Charging Cable: Must support Extended Power Range (EPR), such as a 240W-rated USB-C cable.
    Power Adapter: Must support USB-C Power Delivery (PD) 3.1 with at least 140W output.
    The ExtendView™ USB4 Dual HDMI Multiport Adapter uses approximately 15W of power for its own operation, leaving up to 125W available to charge your laptop.

    Actual charging speeds may vary depending on your laptop’s charging capabilities.

    No. The USB-C ports on the ExtendView™ USB4 Dual HDMI Multiport Adapter are designed for data transfer only, supporting speeds of up to 10Gbps.

    To connect an external monitor, use one of the HDMI ports, which supports resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz.
