In order for these adapters to support multi-display video output using HDMI, an additional application named InstantView by SiliconMotion must be installed onto the host device. Failure to do so will result in no video output through one of the HDMI ports.

Note: InstantView by SiliconMotion is only supported on macOS Catalina, Big Sur, Monterey, Ventura, and Sonoma.
