Satechi Warranty Policy
At Satechi, we are committed to offering top-tier products with a focus on customer satisfaction. This Limited Warranty applies to purchases made directly from our official e-commerce site (www.satechi.com) and authorized sellers.
1. Warranty Coverage
Satechi products are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This warranty is valid from the date of purchase and includes the following options:

Replacement: Warranty replacements may be the same model or, with your consent, a product that has the same or substantially similar features (for example, a different model with equivalent functionality or the same model in a different color). The replacement product will be new or made from new and/or previously used genuine parts and will have been tested to meet our functional performance standards.

Refund: A full refund is available within 30 days of purchase, provided the return conditions are met (see Refund Terms below).
2. Refund and Replacement Terms

Full Refund within 30 Days: We offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase for any reason. This applies to both domestic and international purchases.

International Purchases: Satechi will only provide a pre-paid label to return an item if it is being sent from within the United States. Customers returning product from outside the US are responsible for return shipping costs.

No Refunds After 30 Days: Refunds are only available within the initial 30-day period. Afterward, the warranty will only cover replacements due to defects.

Price Drop Protection: If a product is purchased within 12 hours of the start of a sale, the customer will be eligible for a refund reimbursed via reward credits only.

Duties and Taxes: For international orders, duties, taxes, and any additional fees incurred will not be refunded.

Refund Process: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned product.
3. Exclusions and Limitations for Warranty Claims
The following are not covered by this warranty:

Accidental Damage: Damage resulting from accidents, drops, spills, or other unintended events.

Misuse or Unauthorized Modifications: Damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modifications, improper maintenance, or normal wear and tear.

Consumable Parts: Parts such as batteries, unless failure is due to a defect in materials or workmanship.

Purchases from Unauthorized Channels: We are unable to provide warranty replacements for products not purchased directly from our homepage, our official Amazon merchant page, or Authorized Retailers.

Lost or Stolen Items: Items that are lost or stolen are not eligible for warranty coverage.
4. Conditions for Warranty Claims
To process any warranty claim, whether for a refund or replacement, the following information is required:

Proof of Purchase: Customers must provide an order number or receipt as proof of purchase.

Image or Video Evidence: A clear image or video showing the defect or issue must be provided before any refund or replacement is processed.

No Exchanges: Satechi does not offer exchanges for different products. Only the same model will be replaced.
5. How to File a Warranty Claim

For Purchases on Satechi.com: Customers can contact our support team through our Contact Us page or at support@satechi.com with their order number, a description of the issue, and the required images or videos.

If the product is deemed defective, we will arrange for a replacement or refund (as applicable under the warranty terms).

Replacement items will be shipped once the defective product is received and inspected. (An RMA# will be provided).

The product must be returned in its original packaging and in new/like-new condition, including all accessories.

For Purchases on Amazon: Customers who purchased through Amazon can either:

File a claim directly through Amazon’s return/refund system within the applicable return window, or
-
Reach out to Satechi support at support@satechi.com with their Amazon order ID and details of the issue.

6. Warranty Replacement Policy for Third-Party Purchases
At Satechi, we rely on our network of retailers and their authorized distributors to handle all warranty replacements for products purchased through third-party channels.

International Retailer Responsibility: If you purchased your product from a retailer within your region, the retailer is responsible for processing any warranty claims, including providing a replacement unit.

International Distributor Responsibility: If the retailer is unable to provide a replacement, their authorized distributor is responsible for fulfilling the warranty replacement request.
7. Escalation Procedure
If the retailer or distributor refuses to provide a replacement or refund, please:

Obtain documented proof of their refusal and any communication indicating that they have redirected you to us for assistance.

Once we receive this confirmation, we will review your case and determine the next steps for providing further support.
8. EU/EEA Customers: Your Statutory Right of Withdrawal
This section applies in addition to — and independently of — the warranty and voluntary 30-day return terms above. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or EEA and you purchased directly from satechi.com, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase as set out below. These statutory rights are not affected by, and exist alongside, our voluntary return policy and product warranty.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods. Where you ordered multiple goods in one order that are delivered separately, the period expires 14 days from the day on which you acquire physical possession of the last item.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a clear statement. There are two ways to do this:
• Option 1 — Online withdrawal form: Click the “EU Withdrawal” button on our website. You will be directed to our withdrawal form. Click button below to access page:
Please complete all required fields and select or identify the product(s) you wish to withdraw, then submit the form.
• Option 2 — Email: Send an email to support@satechi.com stating that you wish to withdraw. Please include all of the following: the name on the order, the email address used for the order, your order number, and the item(s) you wish to return.
If you use the online withdrawal form, we will communicate an acknowledgement of receipt of your withdrawal to you without undue delay on a durable medium (for example, by email).
We will use the information you provide solely to process your withdrawal request, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
Returning the goods
You shall send back the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. The return address/RMA is provided with the acknowledgement email.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to certain goods, including (among others) goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, and sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and which were unsealed after delivery. Most standard Satechi products are eligible for withdrawal.

FAQs
Q: What if I lose my receipt?
A: Please contact our support team. We may be able to verify your purchase through alternative methods, such as order ID or account details.
Q: Who pays for shipping in international claims?
A: Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs for international warranty claims.
Q: Are refurbished products covered under this policy?
A: Only new products purchased from authorized sellers are covered.
Limitation of Liability
Warranties do not cover misuse, unauthorized modifications, external causes such as acts of nature or shipping hazards, or damage caused by accident, or abuse of the product. Neither does the warranty cover normal wear and tear, or damage to any non-Satechi product used in connection with the product.
