    The dock features a compact 5 × 5 × 2 inch design and uses industry-grade aluminum for durability and heat dissipation.

    The dock supports M.2 NVMe SSDs in the following sizes: 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280.It can accommodate SSD capacities up to 8TB. The dock supports read/write speeds up to 6000MB/s, depending on the SSD installed.

    It depends on your Apple Silicon processor:
    M1 / M2 base models: Support only one external display natively.
    M3 base model: Supports dual displays only in clamshell mode (laptop lid closed).
    M1 Pro/Max/Ultra, M2 Pro/Max/Ultra, M3 Pro/Max/Ultra, M4/M4 Pro/M4 Max: Support dual external displays.

    The dock supports up to 6K at 60Hz (6K/60Hz) on each Thunderbolt 5 (TBT5) port when the Mac is capable of driving it.
    Windows Video Output Support

    The dock includes an internal fan that activates only when necessary. It remains cool during standard use and increases cooling under heavy workloads to sustain performance. Fan noise ranges from 20–40 dB(A).

      Exactly what my new Mac Mini 4 needed

      This Satechi Thunderbolt 5 is everything I had hoped for and exactly what my Mac Mini 4 needed. In addition to the SSD enclosure that works great, I have now all of the ports and potential connections my system needed. Easy to set up, and almost unlimited options. This device takes a really good Mac Mini4 and makes it great - don't hesitate, if you have a Mac Mini, you need this!

      Perfect M4 Mac Mini Compliment

      I wanted to replace a series of portable external SSD's I had connected to my Mac Mini. I also wanted to eliminate the USB-C hub, also attached to my mini. The Thunderbolt 5 CubeDock did both! I attached the CubeDock to my Mini and verified that the ports were all available and functioned properly. Then I added an 8TB SSD to the CubeDock. It was instantly recognized in Disk Utility and I formatted it, then created my desired volumes. It has been working flawlessly ever since. The read/write speed compared to the portable SSD's is remarkable.

      really great and functionally superior
