Yes. It will charge earbuds from other brands as long as the case supports Qi Wireless charging.

We can confirm that the second generation of AirPods was available with both the original case and
the AirPods Wireless Charging Case, which includes the LED indicator on the outside of the case.
If your AirPods case has the LED indicator inside the case when opening the top, then it is NOT the wireless charging version and must be charged directly connected to a lightning cable. Please use the following image for reference:

That version did not come with a Wireless Charging case, only the 2nd Generation had an option that included the Wireless Charging Case and the AirPod Pro models already include one.
